Strawberry Lake is a private lake owned by an
association of landowners committed to maintaining its natural beauty and
wonderment. Pictures do not do it justice. The following picture galleries
depict some of the different views from around the house.
These pictures represent the deep winter on
Strawberry Lake. For those of you who enjoy winter activity, this is the
place to be. There are plenty of snowmobile trails nearby, ice fishing is
just a short walk away, and cross country skiing is as easy as it gets. Of
course, when you are done outside, come on in to a glowing fire to warm you
up!

Fall in Michigan is as brilliant as any place in
the country. The foilage on Strawberry Lake is breathtaking. The crispness
of the air opens the senses. Fishing continues to be good until November.
Summertime is THE time of the year to be on the
lake. Wildlife abounds. In 2004, a bald eagle perched regularly on a tree
within spittin distance of the house. Deer and turkey can be seen on a
regular basis. A pair of loons inhabits the lake
every year. They are very
vocal, and can be seen fishing all day long. Speaking of fishing, Strawberry
Lake is unmatched for it's fishing. The perch are a delicacy, the bluegill
are as big as your hand, and the large mouth bass fight with unmatched
ferocity. Sitting on the deck or walking around the marsh brings about a
state of relaxation that is unattainable anywhere else.
